New 2020 Date

LATEST NEWS – 14.07.2020

FOR 2020 RELAY PARTICIPANTS:

As you will have seen, we are planning on being able to deliver a safe and socially distanced edition of the Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon on 12 & 13 September 2020. However, despite our best efforts, we are unable to safely cater for relay participants and still adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Due to the unique elements of triathlon relay racing and the need for team members to wait in transition for handovers, it isn’t possible for us to be able to offer relay racing in a manner that adheres to these new social distancing guidelines. We have been liaising with health and safety experts and seeking regular advice from the British Triathlon Federation before coming to this decision.

All Relay team Captains and Members have now been emailed. If you haven’t yet received your email about your next steps and options, please email our team: info@blenheimtriathlon.com ASAP.

LATEST NEWS – 26.03.2020

The Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon moved to Saturday and Sunday 12 & 13 September 2020!

To our Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon Community,

As you will have seen across our social media channels, it was with a heavy heart that we had to postpone the Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon, originally due to take place on 30th & 31st May 2020. Along with the rest of the UK, we had been closely monitoring the escalating situation with regard to COVID-19 and felt that it was the only right decision not to proceed with the original date given the current advice from the Government and public health authorities.

However, we do have some brilliant news for you! The 2020 edition of the Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon WILL NOW take place on:

12th & 13th September 2020

And if you entered originally then your place has been secured!

If not, you can enter now via the button below.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon will take place on Saturday and Sunday 12th & 13th September 2020.

  • We have automatically moved everyone’s entry into the newly announced September weekend, for free. This has been done exactly per your booking, so you’ve been transferred day-for-day and distance-for-distance.
  • All of your subsidiary purchases have been automatically transferred over too. So if you bought: an iTab or a Premium Place etc… It has been transferred for you.
  • You DON’T need to take any other action at this time.

If, for whatever reason, you are unable to make the September 2020 date, then we have a couple of alternative options for you:

Option 1 – You can change the day that you are competing on

  • If you are not available on your like-for-like day, and wish to therefore change the day that you are competing on for 2020, please email info@blenheimtriathlon.com. You MUST use the subject line: ‘2020 DAY CHANGE’. If this is your preferred option, you NEED to email us BEFORE the deadline of: Tuesday 30 June at 11.59pm. Please note, this is subject to availability.

Option 2 – Defer your place to the 2021 Blood Cancer UK Blenheim Palace Triathlon, on May 22nd & 23rd 2021

  • If you wish to defer your place to the 2021 event, please email info@blenheimtriathlon.com. You MUST use the subject line ‘2021 DEFERRAL’. If this is your preferred option, you NEED to email us BEFORE the deadline of Tuesday 30 June at 11.59pm.

Option 3 – Email our Customer Service Team

  • We understand that the above options may not suit everyone, and we always look to accommodate people’s different circumstances. If you’d like any further information, please email our team: info@blenheimtriathlon.com.
  • As we expect to be busier than usual dealing with incoming queries, please allow up to 3 working days for your response.

For FAQ’s related to this postponement, please see below.

We want to take this opportunity to once again thank you for understanding how difficult the journey through these unprecedented times has been; and for supporting us so vocally all the way through.

You make doing this worth it.

We hope to see you all on the start line on 12th & 13th September 2020.
