What is involved?
The event aims to give all children a wonderfully positive introduction to multi sport. For more experienced, older children, the longer distances allow us to cater for all abilities. We take great pride in creating a safe and secure, child-friendly event.
We run three children’s races per day so you can plan your day to fit in with adult start times. Because adult race times are announced a few weeks before the event, we will send out a provisional start list on or around the 16 May. You can then change your child(ren)’s time if need be.
Races start at 10.00, 12.30 and 15.00 on both Saturday and Sunday. (Ignore the 09.00 on the booking form below – you’ll be asked to select your time.) Race briefing takes place for all children 15 minutes before the start time. The kids are organised into age groups with the oldest going first followed by the youngest. 8-9 year olds are the last age group to go. It takes up to 60 minutes for us to get through all the age group waves.
You can register any time prior to race briefing. We recommend doing so early in the day to avoid a last minute rush.
