Any child between the ages of 11 – 14 (competent in open water swimming) can enter our TriStars Aquathlon waves (swim/run) or if you are  aged between 15 -18, you can compete in our Youth & Junior Super Sprint Triathlon waves.

Through our TriStar waves, you can take your first positive steps into the sport of triathlon at one of the most famous events in the world. The TriStars waves will take place between 11:00 and 11:30am at the ExCel Centre, Royal Victoria Docks, London on Saturday 4 August 2017.

This year we will be hosting waves for TriStars categories 2 & 3 (please take a look at the category options and distances below)

Category                  Age           Swim            Run

TriStars 3 (TS3)         13-14          400m           3km

The Youth (15 – 16) and Juniors (17 – 18) waves will take on our Super Sprint Triathlon distance:

Swim 400m – Bike 10km – Run 2.5km

We have been working closely with the British Triathlon Foundation, our specially trained swim safety team & experienced event crew, to make sure our TriStars get the most from their Aquathlon experience. As with all events, safety is our number one priority, so we have created a special course for our TriStars event and will have a dedicated team on hand to make sure all our TriStars feel safe, comfortable and happy!

*Please bear in mind the TriStars Aquathlon includes a short open water swim – we will have a complete swim safety team on and in the water looking after them, but parents/guardians should ensure each child is confident swimming in open water and is able to tread water unaided.*

Any child under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
