ROAD CLOSURES SUNDAY 8 AUGUST 05:00 – 12:30
The following road closures will be implemented to allow the London Triathlon 2021 to take place over the weekend of the 7 & 8 August.
Victoria Embankment, Blackfriars Underpass, Upper Thames Street, Lower Thames Street and Byward Street, and Tower Hill will be closed in both directions. White Lion Hill will also be closed.
This closure includes the cycle super-highway between Westminster Bridge and Shorter Street.
Westminster Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, Blackfriars Bridge and London Bridge remain open to traffic throughout the event as do the Blackwall and Rotherhithe Tunnels.
VEHICLE ACCESS & EGRESS
There will be managed vehicle access and egress Southwark Bridge north bound to High Timber Street and Bell Wharf Lane.
There will be facilitated vehicle access to all other locations impacted by the London Triathlon.
If you do need to travel, we recommend that you plan ahead to consider the best route. We also recommend that you allow extra time for your journey on these days.
